  1. lol this is actually from your own thread: http://premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74247&page=2 And the psych grade distribution rules at uwo >> http://www.psychology.uwo.ca/pdfs/course-instructor-manual.pdf Our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and most of 4th year courses at york bio have an average in the 60's! unlike uwo where 4th year courses have an average of 80%
  2. Same can be said about any other university. It's funny how someone mentioned uwo biomed that had class averages of 75-80% even in first and second year courses. York and UofT and many other universities have first and second year class averages in the 60's... so stop complaining!
  3. Go to UTSG. No point in taking 3 more credits of physics and risking your gpa unless you're good at physics and are confident you'll get an A (even then its a risk).
  4. They don't. I'm not really sure what the grade distribution rules in the faculty of health are like but they're def not as strict as those in the faculty of science.
  5. ugh we never had a bell curve in biochem... stupid lab component
  6. lol tbh you only need biol2020 for 3110... I never understood why cell bio and genetics were required... and don't get me started on all those random courses that have animals as a prerequisite
  7. BIOL 3150 is a lab course! What made you think they were gonna let you take it without 2070? Even if they did, it was in your best interest to take that course because BIOL1010 labs are bs... they don't teach you anything. Don't you need 2070 for your degree anyways?
  8. Noooooooooooooo It means that you need one of the following: BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 3.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 4.0 and BIOL 2040 4.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 4.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 3.0 and BIOL 2040 4.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 4.0 and BIOL 2021 4.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 4.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 4.0 and BIOL 2021 3.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 3.0 and BIOL 2040 4.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 3.0 and BIOL 2021 4.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 4.0 and BIOL 2021 3.0 and BIOL 2040 3.0 and BIOL 2070 BIOL2020 4.0 and BIOL 2021 4.0 and BIOL 2040 4.0
  9. Surprisingly?? lol seeing that the anatomy and Phys I thread went on for 50+ pages, I am not surprised.
  10. stop misleading people York is a HUGE university... there is no way you've taken every program at york so that you're in a position to compare it with any other university or make a general statement as "York is definitely much easier than U of T" and just like you were a uoft life sci major, I'm a york biology major who finds york kine much easier than york bio... another point: you have an unfair advantage since you are taking first and 2nd year courses in your 4th year. also just cuz one course is easier doesn't mean every course is... we've had a debate on this already so please do a search before starting this debate all over again... THIS IS A YORK PREMED DISCUSSION THREAD so please don't turn this to another debate between york and uoft... we don't give a **** about uoft
  11. lol okay fine, maybe its not as easy to get an A+ as I'm making it sound but we covered all that action potential stuff in one lecture in BIOL 2021 (cell bio) that they spend about half of the course on in KINE 2011 and we go in a lot more detail for all the other topics covered in KINE 2011 too. I didn't really see a point in spending so much time on studying stuff I already knew (in a lot more detail). I guess it depends on their performance in cell bio... most people don't do well in that course.
  12. 1... one of the easiest courses I've taken in university! You can study the night before and get an A+.
  13. If thats how they worded their choices, then thats a really bad question. The all of the above should be before none of the above or they should make the last statement as "all of the statements A to E are correct" so that none of the above is not included in all of the above.
