Hello! May I ask what program you did your Master's on? Was it course based or thesis-based? I would love to be in a program where I get opportunities to go to conferences and have a supervisor who publishes quite often. I realize at the end of my undergrad career, that there are just some topics in science that are NOT published ever so often. VS. I believe some clinical or bio photonics are published often.

my marks are in and i re-calculated my mark. 1st year 3.55 2nd year 3.56 3rd year 3.85 4th year 3.7375 cGPA: 3.674375 best 2 years: 3.79375 wGPA uft: 3.755555 I will be writing my MCAT this year. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of awards/scholarships under my belt... just Dean's Honours, entrance scholarship, volunteer award. --> will this hinder me from getting an interview? My EC's are also pretty average; research paid (no pubs), research volunteer, 4th year thesis, exec on >4 clubs, volunteer in hospital (day surgery unit), volunteer in food bank, church mission trips (7 years), volunteer abroad (med training), basketball intramurals, hobbies I would like to receive some feedback given that I do well on my MCAT this year. Congratulations!!!! I can't imagine how happy you must be! All of that work paid off... you worked so hard to get in, I'm sure you will work just as hard when you're in med school I just graduated and even though all of my peers got in to med school, I feel like somehow... I'm not "ready" yet (not mature enough?)..so I'll be taking a year off and work hard. I hope that I will be able to come back to this thread and hope i inspire others as you inspired me. Perseverance and patience is the way to go. Good luck with your future endeavors!

1st year: 3.6ish 2nd year: 3.7ish 3rd year: 3.83 4th year: 3.77 (reason is because I got two B's despite all other A's) -No awards, except for entrance - a variety of EC's (ex. club execs, hospital, CAN blood, volunteer abroad) - research volunteer - research assistant in cancer department - reference letters; thesis prof undergrad & work manager from research - writing MCAT this summer Don't have high hopes... regretting that I'm not doing a fifth year and just graduating. Instead, this year will be a "gap" year for me.... hoping that the year will be productive & meaningful.
