  1. is anyone able to get this card? Avion Visa Infinite Privilegehttp://www.rbcroyalbank.com/credit-cards/travel-credit-cards/avion-visa-infinite-privilege.html Tbh ever since UBC stopped accepting credits for payment, it's really hard to get points (being frugal and all). Therefore it might be worth it to get a card with more side perks: free checked bag, priority check in etc.
  2. Care for others, but live for yourself

  3. Mostly meat eater, although an omnivore by definition. What is your opinion of Justin Bieber?
  4. It feels worse than 4chan in here sometimes. And maybe it's not okay to act differently. How many U of A PGY 1 Psyc's are there anyway? With that and the things you post in this thread only, it's pretty easy to identify you. (No offense Renin, just giving an example) I agree with Gametime, I post as I would say in real life. I already expect people close to me to know my identity.
  5. The more you post the more I think you aren't 27. Ah well I was only being helpful anyway.
  6. I certainly hope you are right friend, as I am in the same situation. For me it wasn't fear as much as supply and demand. I did my undergrad in engineering. Note to orcamute, you better be careful about your girlfriend starting engineering. Supply and demand
  7. Going with RBC since my representative is somewhat financially sound. Told me to use the LOC as little as possible, since provincial loan is interest free for the time being. The fact that RBC has no annual limit means that I can pay back my provincial loan with the LOC. Provincial student loan interest rate in BC post residency: prime+2.5%. Also the LOC from RBC is good for life. In essence, after I pay it back, I will always have a LOC at prime with a 250k limit. The difference in credit cards seems irrelevant in comparison.
  8. 650 doesn't get you anywhere within city limits in Vancouver, and I hear it's worse in Toronto. Also my RBC representative told me that they will be increasing their limit to 300k in a few years to several banks. Not sure if this is true, only a messenger.
  9. VFMP 2017, accepted IP GPA: ~90% MCAT: 36S ECs: typical stuff, hospital volunteering, senior home, school executive council, some search (no pubs) Interview: Not good at all. For future applicants, a bad interview doesn't necessarily spell despair!
  10. Waitlisted GPA 3.89 MCAT 36S ECs: typical stuff, hospitals, school clubs, senior homes etc. Interview: did not go well
