  1. Go to UofT if you want to match to UofT dude. You will have more opportunities to build relationships with staff/residents you will be able to see much more frequently. The weeks you lose in elective time you regain through that + core rotations.
  2. How much time did you lose? I think this should be considered in your evaluation. Think about whether you should contact admissions regarding this issue.
  3. Yeah it's out of date! The advisors on this list are theoreeically supposed to be the most up to date and knowledgeable on the offers you're eligible too. But of course always check here too Feel free to switch and just let them know that you weren't confident in your previous advisor given the several discrepancies you noticed. These ones are supposed to know their stuff.
  4. Contact someone on this list https://www.scotiabank.com/ca/common/pdf/personal_banking/Scotiabank_SPSP_representative_English.pdf
  5. I was told the grace period was 12 months by the advisor I spoke to a few weeks ago. Is this a recent change?
  6. Can you confirm that the VIP account fee is also waived for 4 years for pre-existing customers?
  7. Hello. What is the best college to go for McGill pre med? Dawson or Vanier? And the nex question: the best of these two vs Marianopolis, Thanks

  8. BS - the iPad is this year. I'm getting increasingly frustrated with reps being either ignorant or blatantly lying to customers
  9. For pre-existing RBC customers: have you had issues with regards to the VIP account fees after 1 year? I was told I can only be given one year for free.
  10. You have to be strategic. You don't need to improvee your GPA for McGill, but it would help. If you're also applying to other schools, your GPA is likely too low. A master's degree rarely helps you get into med, and when it does, it is only marginal. That being said, depending on what specialty you're into and its leveel of competitiveness, it can sometimes be helpful to have a grad degree, but that's another story...
  11. ^ communicate with them. I had this issue previously and managed to fix it and interview
  12. So most people come in a full suit but a non-negligible amount of ppl come in simply with a dress shirt and pants. I highly doubt it would impact you negatively if you didnt wear a suit. If you can't afford it and don't have a reasonably well fitting suit lying around, don't sweat it. What you have to say is a lot more important than a jacket Good luck!!
