  1. Damn, killer MCAT. You're good for Western, not sure about the other schools!
  2. Unless you have a legitimate reason for doing poorly, and not just "fucking up", then no, and don't bother wasting time petitioning. It's one B, everyone fucks up at one point. Move on and do better next time.
  3. Were you looking for an upper level year course? Unless you're very strong at essay writing, (and even if you are), a 90 isn't easily achievable in many of these courses based on my experience. Most of my classes this year have been paper based POLS courses, and I've received an A plus on only 1 paper so far, despite having had the highest marks in about 3 courses (still no 90).
  4. Oh okay, yes that makes sense. I was thinking more along the lines of the ~actual~ reasons a lot of people will choose when to cross or not lol (more important courses vs less important courses) Most of my professors seem to be very understanding about students deciding not the cross picket lines, and have been actively responding to emails and questions over the past two weeks. I'm quite surprised at how many people will be crossing just because they don't trust the university or their professors to accommodate them or respect Senate policy.
  5. I'm not understanding correctly. Deciding not to cross a picket line is a philosophical position, so if that professor can show that a student is picking and choosing which classes to attend, why would he be in the wrong to penalize a student?
