I know U of C sends out information like this to their residents for internal transfers within U of C. But I haven't heard of other schools doing that unfortunately.

I have just started a residency in a city that is away from my partner/family, and I have found someone in that city in the same program that might be interested in coming to my current city. So essentially it would be a switch of two residents between the same program in the same providence. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

How is the hospital's EMR? Is the cafeteria food good? Will my car get broken into if I park at the hospital?

I would drop the emerg elective, and do a family one. I don't think having an emerg elective is important for internal or family (yeah sure they crossover, but the programs are looking for program specific electives i imagine)

I think this will be very challenging to find as a medical student. I know you can do IR rotations specifically at Queens, but my friend that went didn't see any oncology stuff. If you do a rads elective or IR elective, ask if you can see the oncology stuff. However, I think it's highly unlikely to be able to participate or see only oncology stuff.

How many weeks of electives do you get?

I think you can, my guess is you just enter them into the referee section twice, one with the specific program, and the second being generic

Although I have not taken classes at either of these places, I am almost positive it will be easier at Athabasca. You would likely have longer to work on difficult concepts, and can push back exam dates etc if you're struggling. And I have heard lots about some of their science courses being easier (anecdote =/= data here lol).

I am not sure about this situation. but you should absolutely apply. Also, call the undergraduate medical education office, they are very helpful and might be able to say if this would affect your application greatly.
