  1. I'm in Sri Lanka right now... it's currently 5 pm... I've been thinking about it all day haha
  2. Accepted off the IP waitlist GPA: 3.9 MCAT: 515 Casper: Always hate writing it, most stressful part of the entire application as far as I'm concerned. EC and Essays: Worked hard on my essay this year, had lots of people I trust proof-read it... ended up doing slightly worse compared to last year haha! Interview: Always a good time. MMI is a fun way to interview, just remember to shake it off if you have a bad station. I could barely talk in coherent sentences for one and I still made it. Score: 66.97 So very excited. I started shaking and crying when I got my email, my limbs went numb which made it rather difficult to reply to the email haha. Never, ever, EVER give up if this is something you want. Third time was the charm for me
  3. I'm in Ottawa too at the moment. We could try to figure something out :)

  4. Date: 9 May Result: low waitlist 2BY: 3.94 ish, can't remember MCAT: 515 (130, 129, 130, 126) Interview: left in tears so can't really say I'm surprised. Trying my hardest to be positive about this. There's a reason things happen the way they do. Going to keep trying, hopefully I'll see you lovely folks as either fellow interviewees or better yet, med 1s! Best of luck out there!!!
  5. Yeah absolutely! I was a student athletic trainer for 6 years (lots of injuries/on-site first aid) and I've been a medic in the reserves for almost 5 years working in the field and in clinics. One is "extra-curricular", the other is "employment". Did that answer your question?
  6. OOP 2nd rejection GPA: 3.9 MCAT: 515 (130, 129, 130, 126) Interview: "Felt" worse than last year, but apparently I scored better *shrugs* ECs: varied, lots of medical related, not a lot of "volunteering" though, maybe that got me. Spent time on my essays. Scores: GPA/MCAT: 22.00/25.00 (same as last year) Essay & Supp: 21.75/35.00 (up from last year) Interview: 25.20/40.00 (up from last year) Total: 68.95/100.00 Total was 62.61 last year, so I'm doing better which is better than nothing! Still have another interview in 2 weeks so wish me luck! I'm a bit bummed but it's a journey! Congrats to those that made it this year and chin up to those that didn't. We'll get there!!
  7. TIME STAMP: 12:03 AST INVITE: YES! IP/OOP: OOP SWOMEN: no GPA: 3.93 MCAT: 130/129/130/126 ECs: varied, tutoring, athletic training, music, volunteering, working Wasn't expecting this at all! Very excited to check the school out and meet everyone. Good luck!
  8. HOW on earth are you baffled with all of those ECs?! lol Congrats!! So happy for you!!!
  9. OOP Rejected Academic 22/25 Supplemental 18.21/35 Interview 22.4/40 Total: 62.61 I'm not overly surprised I didn't get in on the first try, but I definitely thought I did better on the essays and interview. Points to improve for next time. I look forward to having a year to relax a little bit and come back strong next year Congrats to everyone accepted! In case they weren't already posted, the OOP score averages: Average GPA = 3.9 (14/15) Average MCAT = 33 (9/10) Average 2015 MCAT = 514 (8/10) Average Supplemental/Essay = 24.7/35 Average MMI = 32.6/40
