1. Asked the reps at Memorial. Did not know about it and said no such thing exists!
2. I personally hated molec II with Scheid. Both Kathy and Mark are awesome though I like Kathy more.
3. Literature and health was pretty good and rather easy but the readings were loooong
4. I had MMI stations that were more conversational and responded to my answers and I had ones that never went off script.
5. FYI: Georgetown is not historically black. I am a white Canadian and interviewed there and their students are fairly diverse. Very heavy bias towards community service. Meharry/Howard, however, are.
6. Tufts doesn't really accept internationals. University of Washington has heavy in-state preference. Add BU and St. Louis university
7. Result: Waitlisted Geography: OOP GPA: not sure. 3.92 OMSAS. MCAT: 37 (10 VR) Interview: actually liked the interview here but didn't get great vibes from the school. As I don't have an acceptance will remain on WL.
8. GPA: 3.92 cGPA, I am not sure what my two-year would be (much higher I believe) MCAT: 12/10/15 Result: Reject Year: Gap year, graduated MSc June 2014 Interview: I thought I didn't do as well as I could have in the MMI on 2 stations and okay on the others. Panel was great I thought (and after 7 USMD interviews this cycle, I am able to judge a bit better than I used to!). To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I prepped every week since Oct with a professional service because I was waitlisted at Queen's last year without professional help and I thought I could only get better. I guess not:( This was my top choice school. Congrats to those accepted and see you on the CARMS tour.
