  1. Hi, I recently matched into FM in Ontario and I'm potentially interested in doing a +1 either in palliative care or care of the elderly (COE). I did electives in both during my 4th year and enjoyed the work aspects of both of them. I was just wondering if anyone who did either fellowship could share their experiences about job prospects (I'm ultimately interested in working in the GTA if that helps), earning potentials and what the work structure looks like (% of inpatient vs. outpatient, call/weekend requirements, hours/week, etc.)? Any information would be really appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Invite/Rejection: Invite Date Stamp: Jan 31 Location: IP wGPA: 3.95 (general upward trend, though not by much) MCAT: 517 (131/126/130/130) Current year: 4th year UG ECs: Average - some research (no pubs, but a patent and a couple of poster presentations), some extracurriculars in the university, hospital volunteering, TA position, other unique activities. An invite from Queen's was quite unexpected, because I really felt that my activities don't stack up compared to most other applicants. BUT, I am glad to have gotten it!
