  1. I wrote the LMCC back in Jan 2021. I took notes on obs, peds, ethics/public health, and psych from Toronto Notes, First Aid, and online med ed. I only read through this document to study for these sections. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AYmy0vbNcuxXM3ZT1APTNIPKj81f8fgI/view?usp=sharing For IM and surg, I read Petsana's and did a few questions on Canada Q Bank (which was not the best tbh). Also did a few practice exams. They were the highest yield, but pretty expensive. I studied 3 hours a day for 3 weeks, which was overkill. Two weeks would have been sufficient. Good luck everyone!
  2. An update on my application - I just declined in favour of another school. I hope that moves the wait list a bit and good luck to everyone!!
  3. Status: Accepted to Saskatoon!! Timestamp: May 15, 3:49PM Geography: IP Year: 4th year MCAT: 525 GPA: Around 95% Interview: Most of the stations were alright/good, and there were two stations that I was particularly iffy about. I'm happy to be done with undergraduate studies and to be accepted! Super honored by the opportunity
  4. Stats: accepted to VFMP Location: OOP MCAT: 525 GPA: around 95% (4.00) ECs: I did a lot of things that I enjoy! Such as learning a new language, yoga, volunteering regarding the social determinants of health, and student leadership. Most of my commitments were fairly long term (3+ years). Interview: I had a great time at the interview. I felt it was more of a conversation than a traditional MMI format. I went in and presented the most authentic version of myself that I could. Super psyched to be accepted at UBC!! However, I'm not sure if I'll be accepting yet because I'm still waiting on results from one more school. Good luck to everyone.
  5. Result: Waitlisted wGPA: 4.00 MCAT: 130 CARS Interview: I thought it went fairly well, except for two stations. The more time that elapsed, the worse I thought I did (but doesn't that happen to everyone, haha!) Year: 4th Geography: OOP ECs: A wide variety of experiences, multiple long term commitments. PM for more details I will hopefully remove myself from the waitlist once I hear about other schools. Good luck to everyone this round!
