    Hi Everyone, After moving to Canada 5 years ago, I have worked from research to government to hospitals. One year ago, I decided to get into residency and now I have matched. Lots of dedication, money and hard work went into it. Throughout my journey, I have taken notes and highlighted important aspects for residency. There is no one answer for how can I get in. It depends on the circumstances as well as the person. Resilience and perseverance pays in the end. I have seen a lot of people go through years (sometimes 8 to 10 years) of hard work sacrificing friends, family, health and finances. I feel that it should not come down to that.
