Merci beaucoup!
  4. I hope everyone is holding up! Congratulations for making it this far in the Usask process. Yesterday, April 22, they had the site selection information session. They stated that invitation/rejections will be sent out May 14. They also reported that next week, they are finishing up with contacting references. Good luck!!!
  5. Anyone apply to their MD with a BHK, MSc Physiotherapy (with international and Canadian work-experience), and current PT registration with the college? What was your GPA? What was your MCAT score? Thanks!
  6. Hi, I would have some questions for the admission in MD in the University of Ottawa. I am currently a university student in Quebec so I would like to apply in the French stream of the MD program next year. Our province was highly touched with Covid-19 so our universities gave us the right to apply to the Pass/Fail option in our winter 2020 classes. As mentioned in the admission criteria of UofOttawa, to be eligible, only one class Pass/Fail per semester is allowed. Is this rule still applicable with the circumstances of covid-19 for next year admissions? Also, I've changed programs in university and has been given the choice of crediting some of my classes. Considering the fact that I already have one class pass/fail in my current program and one class that I would like to credit from my old program ( credited as equivalent (EQV)), would I stil be eligible to apply ? Thank you in advance!:)
  7. What are the advantages, disadvantages, and benefits to completing a PhD or masters in conjunction with your MD? Does it offer advantages in the future? I was considering doing the MD/PhD program but I don't really have a desire at this point to do lab work/research. Are there other things you can do with your MD/PhD? I would be open to hearing advice from anyone who decided to do the program or the reasons people decided to not do it. Thanks everyone!
  9. Based on what I know so far, becoming a pathologist require a MD degree; however, when I searched online for Master in Pathology and PhD in pathology, it says ppl with a BSC degree can apply too? So what is the difference between MSC/PhD in Pathology and the Pathology residency? If I just have a BSC, and apply to MSC in pathology, what I will do and where I will work in future after I completed the Master degree? I assume it is definitely not the same as those pathologist who have finished MD right?
