Hi Everyone!! So I had a couple of questions if anyone could answer it would be highly appreciated! 1) Right now I am in my last semester of CEGEP (I did my CEGEP in 4 semesters, however i started during the winter semester). Obviously I want to apply to med-p and dent-p at mcgill. However, in order to do so that would mean that i would have to wait for a semester (since I am finishing my cegep in the fall). Would i still be applicable to applying for mcgill's med-p and dent-p after staying for a gap semester (not doing any studies)? 2) At the moment i have an r-score of 35.2 which is really stressing me out. Like its not a competitive r-score but its not that bad (I like calling it the grey area). But does anybody know if people with r-scores like mine make it into mcgill med-p and dent-p or am I just dreaming that i have a chance of getting in haha? In order to counterbalance my r-score's uncompetitiveness I have been working as a caregiver and i got my first aid and cpr trainings. Other than that i did some volunteering (approx. 100 hours). I also got some trophies back from high school. But does anybody know if people with r-scores like mine make it into mcgill med-p and dent-p or am I just dreaming that i have a chance of getting in haha? 3) I started revising for the casper but could anyone give me any pointers on whats the best method to study for it. I bought the "**DELETED** casper" book but i found the responds they give in the book too unrealistic because they're very long. So does anyone have any suggestions?

Pour ma part le choix se tiens principalement entre médecine dentaire et med-pharmacien Quelles sont vos critères ? Pour ma part il y Ulaval et Udem comme choix J'ai entendu dire que la structure du programme en médecine dentaire est bien plus lourd à Udem qu'à Ulaval Pour ce qui est de celui de pharmacie je ne sais J'aimerai savoir ce qui vous a fais prendre votre choix car jaimerai prendre le miens avec les réponses d'admisison qui arrive Merci bien!

Bonjour ! J'ai remarqué qu'il y avait beaucoup de "topics" pour suivre l'évolution dans différents programmes en santé, mais je n'ai rien trouvé par rapport à l'ergothérapie. Dès que certains d'entre nous recevrons des nouvelles (admissions, refus, liste d'attente..), ce serait cool qu'on laisse les informations ici pour le programme. Hi! Right now, I’m a CEGEP first year (science nat). I want to get into McGill’s Med-P program, what should I do, during my 2 years here, to optimize my chances? What r-score should I target? What looks good on an admission? I’m super motivated and I’ll do whatever I need to do. I’m just 16 years old so I’m going to school in my hometown. My CEGEP isn’t a very “reputable” one but hopefully this won’t lower my chances…? Thank you so much to anyone who’s willing to help! ☺️

Hey, So I created this thread for med-ps to discuss since I found that there weren't a lot of discussions for our applicants' pool. What do you guys think of the Med-P waitlist @mtl and @outaouais this year? At which rank do u think the waitlist might stop? Is there anyone willing to leave the waitlist? Are you guys waiting for responses from other universities while being accepted at McGill or while being on McGill's waitlist? Admitted med-ps, former med-ps and candidates on the waitlist are more than welcome to share their thoughts. Feel free to do so!
