Optometry in the U.S.

Does anyone know the process to come back to Canada and practice if you go to the States to study Opt?

 

Would you say it's a good idea or what are some of the potential downfalls?

 

If anyone has done it or knows someone who has... Any information is appreciated, thanks!

 

Also, what are some Canadian-friendly schools?

Hey I didn't notice this question asked before and I made a more recent post about it. I am currently asking optometry associations what the process is and whatnot so just PM me in a week and I'll let you know the answer. After seeing your post, I realized that I should've asked UWaterloo, since that's pretty much the "gateway" to international optoms to practice in Canada.
