Internship In Canada ????

Hi,

 

I am a student at the faculty of medicine,university of alexandria,egypt.

 

I have completed 4 years of undergraduate medical education.

 

The system of med school in Egypt is 3 years pre-clerkship and 3 years clerkship and 1 year of internship.

 

So that my permanent resident status doesn't expire, I have to leave Egypt after finishing the clerkship phase and move to Canada.This means that I will lack the internship year.

 

So I was wondering, is there a place in Canada where I can spend my internship training ?

and also apart from the internship year, how can I get clinical experience in Canada,other than electives ?
