Premedstudent0307
What are my chances of getting into PA at the University of Manitoba? My gpa for the lat two years is 3.63 on the 4.0 scale and I took a full couse load both years. I have really good extracurricular activities but I am very nervous about my gpa. Also, is it true that U of M only takes 12 people a year?!?! If that's the case, it's more competitive than medicine, which makes no sense. relaxingbath
I can't speak for your chances of getting into UofM however the class size is around 12 from what I have heard, UofT takes 30 and mac 28, some years +- one or two. You are right that the course are very competitive with only 3 schools offering PA and the profession is now becoming recognized within Canada there will hopefully continue to be excess jobs for graduates. Bambi
Regarding competition, it's the old story of supply and demand.
