DrJackShephard
Is Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine overkill for a medical student with an interest in Internal Medicine?
ploughboy
If you don't mind reading online, your CMA membership gives you access to a bunch of texts including Harrisons. Your schools library likely will as well.
NLengr
I second the online books. You won't use them near as much as you think and they are expensive. Plus, you may end up using the online access preferentially over the paper books anyway. That's what I did. Don't start buying stuff until residency. And even then, only buy it if it's a critical book and you can't get someone to buy it or give it to you.
