lostandmaybefound
Hi, Does USASK have a policy on classes taken after your 4-year degree as an unclassified student (non-degree program) and how they may be used to calculate one's university academic average used for admission purposes? i.e. finished a 4 year degree, take additional undergraduate courses to boost grades. Also, am I reading this properly: as an OOP applicant, your undergraduate GPA does not matter for consideration of either an interview invite OR admission, with interview offer purely based on MCAT percentile with respect to the application pool and admission offer purely based on your interview score? Thanks in advance.
Scorbix
Hey there, You might like to check out the admissions document here: https://medicine.usask.ca/documents/ugme/admission/ApplicantInformation2016.pdf As for your question about OOP, you need only have at least an 83% average. Selection is made solely on MCAT and then MMI score. UAA for OOP is just a minimum requirement that needs to be met.
Torntoiletpaper
Hey there, You might like to check out the admissions document here: https://medicine.usask.ca/documents/ugme/admission/ApplicantInformation2016.pdf As for your question about OOP, you need only have at least an 83% average. I was searching this up a while back and somebody stated that the average accepting average was 93%… Is it still worth applying if you barely meet the requirements for OOP (>83% and MCAT requirement)? MDA
I think that you just need to qualify and then the UAA is no longer considered for OOP. Just the MCAT score.
