should be pretty solid since mcat scores take up a big portion of the composite score. do well for your interview! goodluck

Hi, thanks for the reply, really alleviated some of my anxiety. Hopefully I can get an interview, but do rural attributes help a great deal?

i don't think getting into the interview will be a problem for you. not sure about the rural attributes tho

You are pretty much guaranteed an interview with those scores as your mcat definitely puts you above average, all it depends now is your interview.

 

Rural attributes helps a bit, but do not slack on your interview assuming you will get in because you are rural or because your MCAT is above average. There are definitely people who get rejected with high MCAT because of a poor interview score.

 

I think at most, the rural attributes will push you into the acceptance range if without it you were on the waiting list.

Yeah I've seen a few people get turned down with amazing stats. I am not even close to that level so im gonna have to nail this interview. Thanks for the response? Are you guys also applying this cycle?
