Like Evidence?

Hey all,

 

Through medschool and residency I always hated how the diagnosis was taught. On one hand, we were all taught to do evidence-based medicine, but on the other, in practice, we were told that this test is "good" and we should use it. 

 

What did "good" mean? How was I supposed to use likelihood ratios and logical reasoning at the bedside?

 

That's why I made an phone-app and website that stores more than 1000 likelihood ratios and pre-test probabilities across specialities, so that you can actually make rational, evidence-based decisions for diagnosis at the bedside.
