Md/phd?

Hello,

Does anyone know what GPA might be competitive for MD/PhD? I applied last year for regular MD with a wGPA around 3.94 and wasn't granted an interview. (I assume this was my problem as I got interviews at Mac (Casper was fine) as well as UofT and Queens (so i would assume my extracurriculars weren't lacking. 

 

I would really love to be considered for MD/PhD at Ottawa but am worried about my wGPA.

I'm not sure if your wgpa was the problem...I go to Ottawa and had a 3.92 wgpa. I was also interviewed at Mac, but did not receive interviews elsewhere in ON (applied everywhere in ON except NOSM.)

ya honestly sometimes its the luck of the draw i know people w 3.91 that r in and i know people w 3.99 that didnt receive interviews
