Cell Biology Vs Microbiology

Which of the two better prepares you for medical school and/or graduate schools related to biological and biomedical research? 

 

It'd be great if you can give me (and many of the first year forumers here) insight into the two fields as well (Like what type of research they specialize in.)

 

I also want to pursue neurobiology even if I end up going to medical school. In that case, should I specialize in cell biology or MICB/IMM ?
