Gpa Cut Off

Hello every body,

I have 2 degrees, the first one with a very awful GPA (2.6/43.) and tthe second one with a strong GPA( 3.9/4.3).

My MCAT is 518( 129, 129, 130,130). 

Do you think I have a shot in Manitoba?

Depends on whether you are IP or OoP. 

For OoP, you have a zero percent chance based on previous years' statistics - you won't be given an offer for interview at all.

 

For in province, your MCAT score is very solid, and your GPA is not terrible either - could be AGPA'd up to the average for interview.

 

However, based on the fact you're using a 4.3 scale, I'm guessing you're not IP, and so unfortunately I would say you have zero chance.

Manitoba uses your grades from all undergrad courses (not just 2nd).

 

You can see interview offers started today.   OOP has incredibly high thresholds for both GPA and MCAT. (and there are only about 5 spots).
