Is Paper And Pen Provided In The Interview?

Is paper and pen provided to write details from questions and to outline your thoughts? 

 

Also, is it frowned upon by interviewers?

No. No paper and pen provided, they do give water though. Its also not MMI, so there would be no opportunity to outline your thoughts on paper (unless they've changed things since last year).

As already mentioned, they didn't provide paper and pen last year. Also, no one that I met there brought their own. Keep in mind that you don't have to answer questions right after the interviewers stop talking. Take some time to collect your thoughts and formulate what you're going to say before you start talking.

Good advice. Just I would definitely not recommend attempting to do anything on paper. I think that would look pretty awkward in a panel interview.

As an aside from this, are you allowed to put your thoughts on paper for an MMI? I know that Ottawa's is not MMI, but I'm just wondering if in an MMI situation you're allowed to use pen and paper

I honestly don't remember 100%, but I don't think they gave us at Mac (the only MMI school I interviewed at).
