khaleesi90
Mostly looking into CTU electives, any particular schools that stood out from anyones previous experiences?
ameltingbanana
Personal CTU experiences that have stood out to me: McMaster (biased, that's my home school), Western (hot lunch every day, complicated patients, awesome morning report), Calgary (patients are few but very complicated, lots of the less complicated patients are taken over by their incredible hospitalist service so it's good from a volume vs learning standpoint IMO). samy
I've heard good things from Cardio @ Toronto. I would also recommend Infectious diseases as an elective. Lot of volume and pertinent to any field of IM you might want to do.

Having clerkship flashbacks right now - I remember the joy of pierogi day (and the devastation if you showed up 10 minutes late and there were none left). Stir fry day was always a sad day for me. But yes, daily hot lunch is the bomb.
W0lfgang
It's preceptor and team dependent. You can have good and bad experiences anywhere. If you're gunning for IM, do electives where you'd like to match.
