Goku
So the invite email mentioned an online assessment provided by Altus Assessments. While we won't find out more details until later this week, it seems pretty likely that this online assessment is indeed CASPer. Thoughts?
daniorerio
It does indeed look like CASPer... I'm curious to see how this will factor into post-interview weighting, since McMaster and Ottawa just use CASPer in pre-interview scores but not post-interview iirc
MacMed2018
It's definitely casper.
TheApiarist
It's definitely casper. I still have doubts that it is CASPer
carebthenarb
I still have doubts that it is CASPer haha its definitely CASPer. Like we had to sign-up and everything for it. Also, does anyone know if what CASPer says is true? That you can't really prepare for it? Cause on their site they say that "general literature suggests that situational judgment tests (SJTs) are relatively immune to test preparation, i.e. that coaching is unlikely to provide benefit." Cause on their site they say that "general literature suggests that situational judgment tests (SJTs) are relatively immune to test preparation, i.e. that coaching is unlikely to provide benefit." notice the wording ... "that SJTs are relatively immune to test preparation" ... "RELATIVELY" immune.... relative to what? and where's the evidence? they haven't provided any. there's lots of evidence to back up that advanced preparation and practice are helpful for tests like casper.
