Interview Prep Companies

fyi - As mentioned above I did find a ton of references in history - many pretty consistent -  did a search and found this posted last year January in thread U of T /Western interview advice:

"I agree re lots of practice... I had both Crush and Dental Interview Plus recommended to me in terms of guiding the practice and making the most of the time you have. I plan on using both and have started already. Hope I'm not jinxing things before offers come out but I don't want to take the chance of having enough time to get the work done to feel confident."

only thing I will add - if you are going to do some training like this do it early. You are basically trying to learn a new skill and unlearn other ones you already have. Often I find that degrades performance initially as instead of doing something naturally you are constantly rethinking things. You have to do it enough so it returns to being more automatic :)  That takes time.

I had a few private messages asking me to expand on my January post - thought it faster to just put it down here - personally I used both Crush and Dental Interview Plus as mentioned above. I started early, used the package to formulate my approach and content, and then used Crush to finesse my delivery. Worked for me, but we're all different. I found that I needed to feel like I had prepared a ton in order to feel confident. But then had to work even more to have the delivery then be natural and more concise. There are other companies too - you'd need to hunt on here in history to find more background on the others.

Totally agree - I'm boning up on the prep I did last year and even then feel like I'm running out of time for uwo ... fingers crossed everyone.

I used a prep company once and I wasn't a fan tbh. I think it depends on how badly you are struggling, if need help badly then a prep company might not hurt. If you are confident you can make it without a prep company, then just practice with friends/family.
