Cda Interviews

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Does anyone here with CDA interview experience mind sharing some tips or advice?  I am unsure if CDA interviews are similar to MMIs in that you are given a set amount of time to think about your answer before speaking, or if you are expected to start talking right off the bat.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks a lot

I did interview last year and to your question - no it's not that in the cda interview you are formally timed in terms of when to start your reply - however just know that there is a standard number of questions they are trying to get through to allow you to display a number of "competencies" - It is to your own advantage to minimize the "dead space", take advantage of all the time you have to insert as much as possible good content into your response. At least for myself, I found using outside resources helped me in practicing the structuring and content of those responses in such a way that I could almost always start the intro to my response as I was still formulating the content and order in my head. It all benefits from a ton of practice. I saw in threads below people listing resources such as Crush, Dental Interview Plus, Elite, Topstar, and Astroff Consulting. I'm not sure if all of these are still up and running or not - you'd have to look into it. Good luck!
