tutgang566
What did others think of the MMI (without getting into confidential information)? It was tough BUT I think I killed it.
Saskatoon
Overall I really enjoyed it. Thank you to all the students and volunteers who made it so good. I felt that it went well, although I felt my answers were weak for three of the stations. Anyone know how hard it is to actually fail a station? tutgang566
From my knowledge, to fail is not hard. It's a score of two or less on the 7 point Likert scale, which doesn't sound like much but one comment someone doesn't feel is right could lead you to failing in theory. Saskatoon
Do you know if they inform us if we passed or failed the interview before they make admission decisions or do they release that all in May?
Altemoc
It felt pretty good at first, but the more I think about it the less sure I am... I think I bombed one station, but most of the others seemed reasonable.

tutgang566
Well they mentioned it at the info session and I know people that have failed in the past but who were solid while prepping. The only thing was makes sense is that they said one remark that individuals did not agree with/was super shitty, which lead to them failing
LPsavage
I walked out of the interview feeling like wtf just happened. There were at least 5 others that had the same feelings. These questions are way tougher than in years past, nothing like the "traditional" interviews that UofM usually has.
tutgang566
I heard about 4 people talk about how hard it was after it was done. Don't worry, it was tough, but so many people felt that way.
Otto123
It was alright; a mixed bag in terms of difficulty. Does anyone know if we are penalized for interviewers asking us follow up questions?
tutgang566
To my knowledge, you do not get penalized, however you never know.
Otto123
Hope not because I exhausted some of the follow ups at a few stations and just sat there in silence
tutgang566
Don't worry, it happens to a lot of people!
medic77
It was alright; a mixed bag in terms of difficulty. Does anyone know if we are penalized for interviewers asking us follow up questions? I'm not sure I'm fully understanding this question? Follow-up questions are part of the normal flow of the interview. Either way it's perfectly fine to finish a question early and have to sit in silence. Some scenarios just don't need as much explaining and people talk at different speeds, etc.
