How Difficult Is Med School? Is It Comparable To The Workload In Pt School?

This is a strange question... But I often hear that med school is incredibly difficult because of the amount of information that is thrown at you, I am wondering, just how difficult is it?

I'm currently in PT school (at mcgill) and I have to take visceral anatomy with lab (anat 316), physiology (phgy 210), biomechanics, statistics, and intro to professionalism (I am not allowed to take any electives this semester). Is this at all comparable to the workload in med school?

J'étais en physiothérapie à l'UdeM et à titre de comparaison:

 

En physiothérapie: 15 crédits par session, 2 sessions par année, environ 100 pages (format résumé) pour un cours de 3 crédits à apprendre

 

En médecine: 15 crédits par session, 3 sessions par année, environ 300 pages (format résumé) pour une unité de 5-6 crédits, 3 unités par session

 

En résumé, on pourrait dire environ 2 fois la charge de travail. À titre d'exemple, le cours d'anatomie de l'appareil locomoteur était 4 crédits. En médecine, ça représente disont le quart de l'unité (la partie anatomie) et il y a 3 unités par session. En sursimplifiant, on pourrait dire qu'une session de med c'est comme faire 10-12 cours d'anatomie.
