Hey all! Hope your interviews went well. Shout-out to xxhunkypremedxx for all his advice on here

 

What did you all think? Was this year's format different from previous years? Seemed like they had more of a structured approach to the panel relative to previous years? As opposed to more of a free-flowing discussion. Or maybe I just bored them to death :.)

I don't want to talk about the interview, but can I just say the London campus looks comparatively so much better than the campus I've been on for the past 5 years (Waterloo). I never knew that a university campus was allowed to not look like it's a collection of box-shaped prison buildings in close proximity.

My boyfriend went to UW and always says it's "so pretty" and that "Western can't be prettier than UW". I went there this summer and was like, honey wtf are you talking about? lol

I think UofT's King's College Circle looks absolutely beautiful. Especially at night.

I am torn - as a graduate of both Guelph and Western

 

I will say compared to other campuses both are SO green. Which is awesome

Literally every interview I've ever had, and I've now had a grand total of 11.

Lol yes, but nothing we can do about it now! I'm just trying to keep my mind off of it. Remember, you can still get in even if you hugged one of the interviewers or sang a Jordan Sparks lyric

I've gone over the interview in my head so many times already that I can't tell if an answer I'm thinking about is what I actually said or what I think I should have said. I am very rapidly alternating between super confident and very pessimistic. Only 2 months to go!

I remember most of what I was asked and most of how I answered, which means I remember how much rambling I did as my brain tried to process the question and then catch up with my mouth, which had already started spewing nonsense to fill the void lol

You don't. You cannot

 

Instead you have to redirect it back to your schooling. Ha - you very likely many need the grades from this year coming up. Cold and rational and maybe not easy but......
