U Of A Pt Interview Invites- When?

Recommended Posts

I'm guessing whoever received an invite or a spot on the wait list has a stand alone gross anatomy class right ?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are saying!

Assuming you mean waitlisted for actual acceptance not just the interview, but as I understand it everyone who is going to get an invite will get an invite BEFORE gross anatomy starts. Timeline as I understand it below:

March 24th- March 31st (ish)--> interview invites (March 31st is the confirmation date for interviews so anyone next on the list will get a spot if people reject their MMI)

April 29th--> MMI

May-July 30th --> admissions invitations

I received my invitation, just wondering if they are doing the interviews multiple days or if the website is wrong? My email invite says May 5th however the website says mmi are on April 29?

FYI - I did a combined anatomy/physiology, but I know it depends on what program you are coming from as to whether they will accept it or not.

I'm sorry I was referring to this

(Human Anatomy (3 credits) Must be a standalone course focusing on gross HUMAN anatomy. PTHER 350 is the recommended course. )

The stand alone anatomy course.

Thank you

In province, accepted for May 5th with a 3.9. Heard rumors that the first day for interviews are designated for students with higher GPAs, anyone else hear that? Or anything else for that matter regarding first/second day interviews?

I got a first day interview and I have a lower GPA than you so I think that is just a rumour.

I also believe it is a rumour. I inquired about the two dates and admissions confirmed that selection is randomized for the second date.
