So I was just notified of opening this weekend! Never done a panel interview - any tips people can provide? I only have ever done MMI ONCE.

Ottawa asks a few ethics questions in their panel that are similar to what one would expect in MMI. Just prep for those and other high yield panel questions.

do they have a set amount of questions to go through in the 40 minute slot? Or is it almost like a free flow based on how the candidate and the interviewers choose to go?

I am sure there's variation across candidates. But for me, it felt like it was more free-flowing than Western, but still felt like they had a list of questions to go through. Practice so that your answers are 2-3 minutes max.
