How Do You Submit Queens Admissions Bursary?

Hi all,

 

I know that the bursary application is due tomorrow. I was wondering how I could submit it? Does it have to be mailed or is there another option.

Either e-mail it to entrance@queensu.ca or mail it to the address in the pdf

Have any of you gotten a confirmation that your application was received? I e-mailed mine on Monday and still haven't heard back.

Just to be clear, you need to have government loan debt to get this bursary correct? So as in if I paid mine off already, bursary doesn't apply to me?

As written in the eligibility clause of the bursary:
- Applicants must currently have accumulated government student financial debt.

Im like a month late, (hopefully you did submit it) 

 

I called and asked, and they said it'll depend on the needs of all the individuals accepted and applied for bursaries. They weigh how much they distribute based on need. So in comparison to someone else with the same need as you going forward, but owe 30k to govt already, they'll give to that other individual first, but if they have money to spare, since your gov't loan won't cover tuition let alone living expenses, they might also  give you le moola.
