Rural And Northern Practice Incentives In Family Medicine

I'm wondering whether anyone of these forums has an idea of what sorts of incentives are available to family physicians that would encourage locuming or practicing in Northern Canada (Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon) and other regions of the country which are rural but not so quite far north (e.g. Woodstock, Chatham, etc. in Ontario).

Depends on the province and sometimes the health authority/community.

Note that places like Chatham and Woodstock aren't really considered rural and I don't believe have any incentive schemes associated with them unless the communities themselves are offering up some sort of financial incentive.
