U Of A, What If I'm On Vacation When I Get My Offer?

I'm going to be away from may 20th to 29th -- as far as I know that's the general date in which U of A sends out early offers. Will my being away make things difficult for me if I do receive an offer of admission? ETC with regards to a PIC check (which I've already started, should be arriving in the next week). I'm not sure what the general process is once U of A sends out their offers and I'm worried that because I'll be in another province I won't be able to accept my offer for whatever reason.
