Med-P Application Status

My application status went from Further review required to Ready for review; Decision release date: 17 May 2017. Is this bad news? The decision release date wasn't supposed to be 16 May?

just checked mine, it's still says "Further Review Required" and the release date is still May 16 on their McGill Web. Anyone else had their status changed ?

Mine changed twice today it was alternating between further review and ready for review. Right now it says ready for review and the decision is on may 17

I called the admission office today, they informed me that the release date is still May16 for both Med-P and NTP applicants !!!!  not sure what's going on.

When did you call? I think it changed around 4 pm

No as NTP...maybe that's why !

Does anyone know if this happened the other years? If yes, the poeple who got a release date 1 day later were refused?

I'm sorry this is so uncertain for you guys. Maybe make sure you are all in the same stream, it seems like at least one of you is applying as NTP.

 

As to the timing, in previous years it has been different but for interview invites. There was one day where people got refusals and invites the next day. I believe another time it was the opposite. There is no pattern to read from. I realize that this is probably not that helpful but just wanted to say that as far as I know there is nothing you can conclude from this. 

 

Perhaps someone else (who got in through Med-P or NTP stream) can chime in.

edit: I am not implying in any way that I believe that having that status change or not means that you will necessarily get a different answer than someone who hasn't had it (or who has).

What happened during interview date was:

If you had :

Further Review Required -> Ready to Review = Regrets

Further Review Required -> Further Review required = Interview (acceptance?)

Further Review Required -> Blank (nothing) = Decision Pending (waitlist)

 

 

Please note that this was for when interviews were going to come out! I don't want to panic or stress anyone as this information could be wrong!

It changed to further review required after you got the interview but it was ready for review before that

Everyone chill. Your answer will be here on May 16. There is not point in thinking about this now since NO ONE knows what this means, and it very likely means nothing. What you should be thinking of is your final exams (assuming you're in CEGEP)!!!

If this can help anyone .. I was refused in April and my status changed from refused to decision may 17 th. I just think the system updates the same way for all applicants . I wouldn't worry ,good luck to those waiting for a reply !

Called the office today they said decisions come tomorow not 17th
