Thoughts On Doing Extra Courses

Yeah, I have checked the BC transfer guide and some of the ones say they transfer to UBCO but not UBCV. Not sure if that makes a difference? (I have no experience with other institutions and transfer credits)

In that case I expect that they will count. They don't need to transfer to UBCV specifically to count towards your GPA. Often courses that transfer to UBCO won't transfer as a specific course at UBCV (because many of the courses and programs are different), but they would transfer generally (e.g. TRU OL CHEM 1503 + 1505 transfers as general CHEM 100-level credits at UBC). I've done a lot of departmental advising and assessing of transfer credits for work -- if you want to post or PM me the courses you're thinking about, I can take a look.

 

Certain times of year admissions can be a bit slow to respond, but they've always gotten back to me with helpful answers or confirmation about this sort of thing eventually.
