bika
Hello friends, So I received a 3.69 GPA in my last 2 years and I feel like giving up. My last option is if I do a fifth year within my degree and then do a special year after graduating. Will this be acceptable? Thank you

That is extremely annoying, I mean.....so close! You can do a fifth year or more within your degree - you don't have to stop at a 5th is my point, and sometimes that is useful depending on your program (easier to access certain courses within a program, sometime easier to do things outside. Depends on the school). Have you done the MCAT yet - just trying to see where that sits as well.
Future_OT
Hey, personally I've heard that schools frown upon taking too long to complete a degree, so I would graduate, then take extra courses in the summer or fall to upgrade. I went from a 3.45 to a 3.69 from graduating and taking 4 more courses, and killing them. Essentially when you graduate they now look at those winter credits (that weren't counted this year) and your soon to be fall ones, which can really make a difference. Use a spreadsheet (I think someone posted one a while back), to see how many courses you'd have to take to maximize your potential. Good luck
