UofT Academic Explanations Essay/and More!

Hey guys! I have 3 questions.

1 Does UofT's Academic Explanations Essay have a word limit? I wrote one about why I had to defer my offer for a year before starting my undergraduate studies and why I was part-time for my first semester at McGill. Also, do I even need to explain why I had to defer for a year before starting at McGill? I'm asking because my essay is almost 868 words long and I want to remove any unnecessary information.

2 Does University of Calgary's Top 10 Experiences section have word limits? Also, exactly what do they want us to talk about specifically? I want to begin writing now before applications open so I can get a head start because my writing skills aren't too great.

3 Does McGill require any essays other than the one Personal Narrative?

I can only speak to question #2.

U of C top 10 experiences have a 1000 character limit (including spaces).  I think this is something like 200 words (?)
