  1. Do USA warranties transfer to Canada though? Also, how much would customs be? Noob right here.
  2. Thanks Raed. And Jerry-mon, you better be proud of me. I'm opting out!
  3. I am starting to look at potential laptops for med.... Just to be clear, if I get OSAP (99.99% sure), I'll get a laptop bursary, but the bursary is just a $3500 cash credit and does not oblige me to get the recommended laptop, right? Therefore, I can opt out of the laptop, use the $$$ to pay for school, and purchase my own? I just don't want to be saddled with a superfluous laptop. Thanks.

  5. Ya, it's the antithesis that kills you. I was thinking of perhaps the neutral countries. During WWII, they could more or less travel anywhere but they aren't powerful as their freedoms rely on others accepting them and not invadind them. Sure, the swedes have an army but...
  6. Remember the all powerful deity of bell curves. If I may quote myself, it doesn't depend on how dumb you are, but how much dumber others are. Good luck everyone!
  7. First off, I know NOTHING about politics, rights, citizenship, so all help would be appreciated. A country's strength increases in direct proportion to its freedoms. Describe a specific situation in which a country's strength might not increase in direct proportion to its freedoms. Discuss what you think determines when a country's strength will increase in direct proportion to its freedoms and when it will not. Unity in a democracy often results in conformity. Describe a specific situation in a democracy when unity might not result in conformity. Discuss what you think determines whether or not unity in a democracy results in conformity. By studying other cultures we increase our understanding of our own culture. Describe a specific situation in which studying another culture might not increase the understanding of one's own culture. Discuss what you think determines when the study of another culture increases the understanding of one's own culture and when it does not. The privileges of citizenship in a democracy involve responsibilities. Describe a specific privilege of citizenship in a democracy that might not involve responsibility. Discuss what you think determines when privileges of citizenship in a democracy involve responsibilities. Thanks!
  8. Sweet! First reply too . That took a long time - I thought the thread was dead for sure. Thanks.
  9. I totally didn't think of this when I did that prompt but how about those Polish nuns who hid Jewish kids and pretended they were Christian. Hundreds of them were slaughtered for not reporting the brats. *Proud of myself.*
  10. I feel like such a leech being practically the only one posting Qs. Anyways, help on these similar history/objectivity prompts? In the recording of history, it is impossible to be objective. There are as many versions of history as there are historians.
  11. Concerning food, That's why it's FRUITS smothered in sugar rather than my usual sugar (lollipop) smothered with sugar. Ummm... I should show up with a pot of honey like Winnie the Pooh
