  1. Nope, I'm not using the dropdown boxes. So far I've just been putting everything manually. When I type in GR (Graded), it works! Thank you!
  2. Was anyone able to note down "GR" in the Course Grade Status boxes next to each course? I keep getting the same message over again and I'm not sure how to fix this issue: "The value you entered is not valid. A user has restricted values that can be entered into this cell." Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it?
  3. Quelqu'un sait si les entrevues peuvent etre en francais ET en anglais? Ou sont-ils seulement 100% francais?
  4. I filled in the application online, but I did not receive a confirmation e-mail or anything other than a confirmation code. How will I be able to track my application?
  5. Thank you for your quick replies, guys. That's exactly what I did as well! I wish we were allowed more than 700 words so I could include more things, but oh well...
  6. Does anyone know if it's alright that we have some overlap between the cv highlights and personal statement? In the personal statement, though, I obviously included more details and stories regarding the experiences.
  7. Did everyone organize their CV exactly into the different categories listed on the McGill website? Such as "Education & Training, Work Experience (remunerated and non-remunerated), Research, Publications, Scholarly Activities, Service to Community, Awards, Honours, Accolades, etc.? Full list is here: http://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/elements/cv
  8. Thank you all for your replies! I e-mailed them so I hope I get back from them shortly; and I hope my question is not too confusing. That's true, but it also says somewhere there that Organic Chemistry is an exception because it is a level 200 course in some universities. It's the only prerequisite course that is not necessarily level 100.
  9. I guess it's two questions... If we did better in Organic Chem II than in Organic Chem I, can we ONLY list the Organic Chem II course as the OChem prerequisite? For my particular situation, I did very poorly in OChem 1 in CEGEP, and I will be taking OChem 2 this winter in University -- I know that I will do much better in it than I did in OChem 1. Does anyone know if I can simply list OChem 2 as the OChem prereq even though I have not completed it yet?
  10. So they only look at the prereq GPA after selection to the interview- that is interesting. Thank you!
  11. Does anyone know how much of a role the prereq GPA plays in the application? My prereq courses were done in CEGEP (3-4 years ago) where my grades weren't as good as in university right now, therefore my prereq GPA is much lower than my undergrad GPA as a consequence. I'm worried this might have a huge negative effect on the academic part of my application, even if my university GPA is considered competitive.
  12. It is now October 12th and my score still says pending on the OMSAS website. Am I the only one? Should I be worried?
  13. Could you share where you found the info please? I am having trouble with this as well. I filled in an application through Minerva, but I'd like to find out what else I need to do to apply.
