  1. SO I am finalized on the Biology BSC honours at York but then I started considering the bachelor of science in nursing program. It has more med focused class work and If I don't get into the physician assistant school, I can go into a masters in nursing or Anesthesia work or medical school. is the nursing program a better variation to consider as a second degree because the security of it or am I making a good decision with choosing biology with a minor in medical anthropology?
  2. I have been reading that the biomedical science program at York in very tough and that it is mostly biovet sciences. My question is that there are courses like systems neuroscience, medical microbiology and neurobiology. (bio4380 systems neuroscience and bio 4370 neurobiology. and bio 2905 medical microbiology) Are these also predominately about animals? also, there are three different research class taking opportunity. can someone who has taken bio 3100, bio 2601 and bio 4602 speak to the strength and weakness of the course? Thanks.
  3. Have you tried NSERC and there is a research sticky in the research section that has some good opportunities.
  4. I have a degree in anthropology from york university and I am considering a second degree 1) in biomedical science or 2) biophysics from york. 3) Science and technology studies. 4) Psych. Which of the four is a stronger program in terms of classwork that pertains to medical practice? I am considering a second degree because I am non competitive in terms of my undergrad GPA.
