  1. For those of you accepted have you received your email yet? I got the call, by haven't gotten the email. I know they had trouble sending my interview invite so now I'm worried lol
  2. I got my call at 2:35pm! Accepted off the waitlist for the English stream. wGPA 3.95! Good luck to everyone else still waiting. Please stay hopeful!
  3. I'm on the wait list as well. So suspenseful! Hopefully we see lots of movement this year!
  4. I agree. Let's make a support thread. Try and get an idea of how many are actually on the good wait list and what our chances are! The universe is really testing our patience haha
  5. I'm also on the "good" wait list. I really wish they told us where we initially were on the list! I don't understand why it has to be a big secret haha. Anyway, good luck to everyone on the wait list! I hope we can all make the cut
  6. Wait listed (Good) 7:58am Stream: English Geography: IP Current year: Completed undergrad Interview: I felt that some parts of my interview went well and other parts I could have articulated better, but even just to be on the wait list is great! Does anyone have insight as to how many people are accepted off the good wait list? Or even how many people are on it? Congrats to everyone who made it in!
  7. I have to say, I feel a lot better after reading some of these comments. I felt that my interview at Ottawa was really shaky because the panel kept cutting me off! There was one question in particular where they questioned every single thing that I said and although I expected to be challenged on my answers, they certainly took it further than I was expecting at times! I walked out feeling like overall, the interview was okay, but I am not so sure that it will be enough to get in. My panel was a little stone faced, but they were friendly and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all.
  8. This same thing happened to me last year. I know how frustrating it is! But don't give up hope guys. It's not over until the rejection email is in your inbox. Stay positive!!
  9. TIME STAMP: March 24th, 3:56pm Result: Invite wGPA: 4.0 MCAT: 14, 9, 14 ECs: A lot of mentorship, very involved with music, worked doing clinical research at a hospital (no publications!), lots of volunteering and leadership rolls (feel free to PM me if you'd like more detail ) Essays: This year I really focused on being more concise with my essays and getting to the point. Felt like they were a better representation of my values and experiences compared to last year. Year: Graduated undergrad Geography: IP
  10. INVITE Date Stamp: Feb. 22nd 10am (phone call) (Interview on the 24th!) Location: IP Stream: English wGPA: 3.94 Current year: Degree complete ECs: Research, lots of leadership rolls, tutoring, peer mentor, etc. Casper: Definitely better than last year I am honestly so stunned. Considering I was rejected from Ottawa a couple weeks ago this came as a crazy surprise. Thank you to whoever decided to cancel their interview! YAYYY
  11. Thank you so much sunnyy, that's really helpful!
  12. I was just wondering if I would still have a good chance at getting an interview at Waterloo for Pharmacy even if my reference letter was not from a pharmacist, physician or nurse. I feel that the reference I am considering knows my abilities and personality very well and could better talk about me and my experiences. He also taught my pharmacology, presented me with the pharmacology award and has supervised me in a variety of activities so he knows me in both an academic and a social setting. My average is 92% and I have quite a bit of relevant experience. Has anyone here gotten into pharmacy without a pharmacist, nurse or physician as a reference? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me!!
  13. Guys! I am so sorry that you had to go through this If it makes you feel any better, I had technical issues last year and they were very fair about it. I hope everything was resolved. Good luck everyone!
  14. I'm in the same boat as many of you. Found the second half a little more challenging/ almost ran out of time on one of the questions (only wrote about 2-3 sentences and didn't get to make my full point). It's honestly so hard to predict where we all stand when so many variables come into play! I am panicking a little though because for some reason my webcam would not load (even though it let me do it for practice) so I hope they don't disqualify me for not being able to provide a picture :S I tried to email them about it and I put a comment at the end, but I am still really worried. Did anyone else have that problem?
