  1. Yes i did this afternoon!!! Freaking out right now and probably will be for the next few weeks, this was my dream school!! Best of luck to all of you, the waitlisted moved quite a bit in just two days!
  2. Based off previous years, i've only heard people put on the waitlist go as high as 50, but seeing numbers in the 90s is something different for sure.
  3. Posting here because there seems to be a high number of applicants that are waitlisted compared to previous years. I wanted to make a thread to collate spots, discuss why the waitlist has gone so high this year and hopefully updates when the waitlist get's moving. Feel free to chime in!
  4. Appreciate it!! Safe to say that the waitlist moves a bit at McGill? Should i anticipate an acceptance, and start preparing immunizations, BCLS etc.?
  5. TIME STAMP: 10:40 AM Result: Waitlist--MTL #1 Pre-req GPA: 3.93 MCAT: N/A Feeling About MMI (please be mindful of NDA): 2nd time interviewing. Felt amazing my first time, got rejected straight away. This time was unsure about a few stations, but felt I tried my best. Year: 1st Year MSc. IP/OOP/International: IP Comments: Cautiously freaking out of happiness but a key question: After clicking the waitlist link, it says "Date of latest offer: March 25th". Can anyone confirm what this means? Will they offer a spot to the waitlist today or is today the last day they can offer a spot? Any insight would be appreciated!!
  6. Broadly speaking, research, president of some campus clubs, founded a club at McGill, sports, some travel, clinical employment and volunteering
  7. TIME STAMP: 10:00am [Update: 3:53pm, Friday Feb 1 2019) Result: Waitlisted--"Reviewed-Decision Pending"--->[Update: Further Review Required (invite)] Feeling about Casper: Prepped lightly for about a month or so, did some practice tests and scenarios. Felt pretty good about it. Year: 4th year of Anatomy and Cell Biology (graduating this spring) IP/OOP/International: IP Letter of EC: No Super excited to interview!
  8. Just got off the waitlist right now!! Status on minerva is "further review required" with some documents to upload, not sure where to access the disclosure agreement. The email said we would receive a call, but I have not as of yet, and the admissions office is closed for the weekend.
  9. Waitlisted as well and wondering the same. Reading through previous forum posts, I've seen people write about getting interviews after the Undergrads interview, and interviewing with the MedP's in April. Not sure what to expect or anticipate, or keep any faith at all at this point. Hopefully others can chime in.
  10. TIME STAMP: 10:00am Result: Waitlisted--"Reviewed-Decision Pending" Feeling about Casper: Prepped lightly for about a month or so, did some practice tests and scenarios. Felt pretty good about it. Year: 4th year of Anatomy and Cell Biology (graduating this spring) IP/OOP/International: IP Letter of EC: No First time applying and more waiting I guess. Anyone know how this works lol
  11. Should we enter in our MCAT scores (both previous and pending) in this part of the application, or will there be a section later on? This section was not required so I was not sure. I am referring to the general undergraduate U of A application before the MD Application. Please let me know! Thank you!
