  1. Hi everyone, I am a Resident at the University of Toronto. I completed medical school at UBC and MMI interviews across the country (from BC to Ontario). If anyone would like tips/hints on interviews or like to do a practice session, please let me know. I am open to meeting in person in the Toronto area or via Skype. Feel free to send me a direct message.

  5. Thanks newfie! Yeah, I'm trying to find that balance of responsibility without there being much of a language barrier. I've looked into UK and Australia and it doesn't seem like either give senior medical students much responsibility at all.
  6. Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a 4-week international emergency medicine elective sometime during March 2016 (preferred) or April 2016. I am hoping to get good hands-on experience with lots of learning. Do you guys think it would be most beneficial if I go to an English-speaking country only? I'm worried about not getting a full experience if there is a significant language barrier. I have already looked into South Africa and New Zealand a few months ago and they seem to be full from a while back. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
