  2. Interview Invite or Regrets: Regrets Early or Regular Deadline: Regular GPA or AGPA (if applicable): 85% MCAT (CPBS / CARS / BBFL / PSBB): 510 Current Degree (UG/Bachelors/Masters/PhD): BSc Geography (IP/OOP): IP Extracurricular Activities (awards, achievements, volunteering, employment, research, etc.): NSERC, scholarships, hospital volunteering, care home volunteering, religious organization volunteering, music, sports, psych lab research, 1 publication, odd summer jobs. PM for more details. NAQ: 28.45 AQ: 22.64 TFR: 51.09 Second time applying. Kind of sucks that I got so close to an interview this time, but it’s nice to know I’m close. I’ll be rewriting my MCAT and applying to US schools as well next cycle. Good luck to everyone with interviews!
  3. TIME STAMP: 5:12PM Interview Invite or Regrets: Regrets Early or Regular Deadline: Regular AGPA (if applicable): 84.02% MCAT: 127/128/129/126/510 ECs: Camp counsellor, 700 hours hospital/care home volunteering, music, research, NSERC, summer jobs. Current Degree: In my 4th year Geography: IP NAQ: 23.42 AQ: 20.91 TFR: 44.33 Wasn't really expecting an interview this year, since my first year GPA was rough, but it's nice to know where I'm at, and where I can improve. I'll probably rewrite my NAQ, and add a few more things from this year. Might rewrite my MCAT this summer.
  4. I have some volunteering activities that I started when I was 13 and continued to now. Is there a set age where I can start counting the volunteer hours or can I include all of the hours from when I was in my teens as well?
  5. I would definitely like to join. I'm not from Victoria though, so I would likely only be able to talk online.
  6. Hi everyone, I have been volunteering in a clinical psychology lab for the past three years, and will be doing an NSERC USRA in this lab over the summer. The PI suddenly decided he will be taking a year break from research, and the lab is expected to close by summer 2018. If I were to get a reference from this lab, would it still be a valid reference for my application cycles? Any advice would be much appreciated.
  7. Currently 3rd year BSc cGPA: 3.60/4.33 - hoping to get to around 3.85 by the end of 4th year MCAT: 510 (127/128/129/126) BC resident will apply everywhere though. Mostly concerned that my psyc/soc and overall scores are low, considering that the UBC average is 515 now. This summer was really the only time I had off to write the MCAT to apply after my third year so I did it, figuring I would be more fresh for the courses on it. I am confident that I can do better if I rewrite, but don't really want to if it isn't necessary. Thanks.
