  1. Time Stamp: 7:01 am Result: Accepted WGPA = 4.00 Interview Thoughts - Did not feel great about it afterwards, but had good prep and realized that the interviewers may have just been challenging me which lead to the impression it didn't go as smooth as I had hoped. Biggest advice I could give is to just be yourself and not the person you think they would want you to be. Good luck to everyone and congrats to all of those who have received offers!
  2. I know but technically couldn't someone with a 4.0 still be in a lower bin?
  3. This may just be reporter bias or less interviewees who have that high of a gpa but it seems like people who have 3.99+ seem to get in quite frequently from past years, anyone else notice that?
  4. Hey I was wondering if anyone living in the GTA would be interested in doing interview preparation. Please PM me if you're interested!
  5. Has anyone heard anything from UBC admissions regarding the interview invite dates? I looked at the dates they posted for the actual interviews and it's one day earlier than last year so it's possible it will be one day earlier this year for invites ie: December 3rd this year instead of 4th like last year.
  6. If we miss the MCAT cut off by 1 point in cars but received a very high score overall, have a 4.0 gpa and strong Ecs is there a potential this will be overlooked? In previous years I have heard it is possible.
  7. I'm being serious I'm just worried cause it's like I feel like I worked so hard and may end up empty handed cause of my cars on that one day. Wasn't sure if they look at overall or section scores post interview and how it's viewed, if anyone has any idea please let me know!
  8. I'm an OOP applicant cGPA: 94.6%, have a lot of extra cuticulars with lab experience (5 labs, awards for presentations etc). I was on the varsity swim team at my school, went to Olympic trials, and won Canadian university championship with swimming. I recently received my MCAT 518 (132/124/131/131) I know overall this is a good score and that I met the cut offs. However, if I get an interview will it be an automatic rejection because my score in cars is lower than the average admitted from previous years? It sucks because I was getting 129 cars before the test but nerves hit me like a brick. Please let me know your thoughts!!
