  1. Can we just lock this thread for the sanity of applicants? I keep coming back and my message of just let it be and live your life has totally been disregarded! for those in the back who didn’t hear the first one: it doesn’t matter if you have had verifiers contacted or not or if someone has had 1 2 or 200. Everyone just relax we are all gunna be okay. Whether people are early deadline, regular deadline, submitted at 11:59am the day of it literally doesn’t matter. Save your stress and energy for interview day! peace and love guys just enjoy life!
  2. No sense stressing about it, no one here has any idea what it means. They could contact every single one of your verifiers or none. Your application is done, it is out of your hands, enjoy your life for the next few months. If you get an interview, do your prep, interview and then again, just wait. I saw so many people stressing about verifiers/ starting to worry about interviews they hadn’t even received yet last cycle. It’s not healthy to cause yourself so much stress when it isn’t needed. Not trying to be critical I just think it is important to separate ourselves from the process until we are required to be involved again.
  3. Well the post title is a bit confusing. I interpreted it as does it show the % which it does. It doesn’t show the gpa
  4. GPA is 88%. Yeah I know studying for the mcat is about a 2 month commitment or it was last time for me. However I’m of the mindset if you don’t set a test date you never will. EC are decent enough for a ubc interview.
  5. Not sure how it’s relevant. Unless my post isn’t clear I am questioning whether it is worth rewriting for the sole purpose of being able to apply. My current one is a 517 with a 125 cars and expires after this cycle.
  6. I am really struggling here. I’m going into my 4th app cycle but last of mcat eligibility (didn’t apply 1st year after writing). I barely missed the interview cutoff on the 2nd app and interviewed last cycle but didn’t get in. I’m wrestling with whether to rewrite this test. There is so much information and I haven’t looked at it in 2-3 years. Deciding against it is ending the dream but if I don’t get in after my 4th application is there really any point?
  7. Do you guys think the adcom has made their decisions? I suspect it might be a matter of them double checking those they want to accept meet the 90 credit threshold (April 30th)? also what are the chances for a person like me. 89% agpa. 516 mcat (125 cars). Good references and felt decent about interview? Extra curricular are probably about interview average for naq. Reason I ask is I saw some person say with an above average interview and 510 mcat and like a 70+ tfr they got rejected. Makes me question myself. Thanks!
  8. Hmm. Yeah it is just stressful. I have a really competitive score (517) but a bad cars (125). So uncertain how to feel
  9. Does anyone think they look at scores individually or the mcat as a whole?
  10. Status: invite missed the cut off by 0.03 last year so this is a spectacular feeling. Never interviewed before so hopefully it goes well!
  11. Imagine Being 0.03 points off from last year. If the NAQ changes such that my entries no longer achieve the same score I will be devastated.
  12. Long time lurker. I applied last year received a 39.6 TFR. Was fresh off my degree. Spent the year volunteering added some stuff that I should have put on the first app. This brings me to where I am today. Status: Regrets, no interview AGPA: 88.41 AQ: 28.05 NAQ: 23.59 TFR: 51.64 I missed the cutoff for IP by 0.03. I am devastated I simply cannot believe this is happening. I am shocked my score jumped so much but I am still horrified that I missed by such a small margin. For those in a situation similar to me, should I be concerned next cycle (ie I have some volunteer stuff that was past this cutoff that will be on the next one) or should I be hopeful?
