  1. Hello! I'm currently going into second year undergrad and I did really poorly in first year (~65%) *smacks head hard* I was going through a lot of family issues, and didn't put in as much effort as I wanted to in my studies :( I know this is a far reach, but I know that U of T and UBC drops your lowest year if you have four years, does it work if I were to apply in my fourth year and have the first year dropped? I know that UWO takes best two years so hopefully I get my crap together and gun second and third year. I would like to say I have somewhat decent ECs so far that I can build up on, and I still have yet to take the DAT but I'm discouraged to apply when most of my friends say that Canadian dental schools are GPA heavy. Any advice would be much appreciated :)
  2. Thank you so much for you response! I will definitely look into some of the general programs
  3. Thank you for your response! What major would you recommend to go along with the minor in life sciences if I were to pursue premed-related undergraduate studies?
  4. Hello! I am considering either McMaster Life Sciences or UOttawa Health Sciences with a minor in Life Sciences as a possible premed program. If there are any former or current students at those two programs, please comment your experiences with the program and if you would recommend it to a future student. Any other program suggestions are also welcome Thanks!
